The information you provide on The Apt University website is limited to your name, email, phone number, and LinkedIn profile link if you decide to request a free 20-minute consultation, submit a question to us, or become a client. We do not sell this information to anyone or any company. Any services you purchase on our website will require you to pay via PayPal, which is subject to PayPal’s terms and conditions available on their website.

Digital Information
The Apt University will only store your email on file if you indicate that you want to receive periodic information from us. Otherwise, after 180 days, your name, email, phone number, and LinkedIn profile link will be deleted from our website and all computer files. We do not store any other personal information about you on our website or company computers, except if we are advising you and reviewing/editing your resume(s), cover letter(s), and LinkedIn profile; we will discard this information within 180 days of completing our coaching sessions with you.
Please note: The Apt University is not responsible for any hacking or computer security breaches or other electronic lapses in security that are beyond its control. The Apt University uses email, Zoom, and other electronic communication as a normal user with no special protections. All parties, including but not limited to visitors to The Apt University’s website, potential clients, and clients of The Apt University avail themselves to any and all security and/or digital cyber risks, including but not limited to data breaches, security breaches, malware, and any other security or digital cyber security risk.

The Coaching Agreement
Clients are fully responsible for any and all actions that they take, whether such actions are a result of the coaching relationship. Neither The Apt University nor any of its coaches/consultants shall be held liable for any actions taken, or not taken, by clients that result from the coaching experience.

Limitations of Liability
The Apt University makes no guarantees, representations, or warranties of any kind or nature, express or implied, with respect to the coaching services negotiated, agreed upon, and rendered. In no event shall The Apt University or its coach(es)/consultant(s) be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special damages. Notwithstanding any damages that one may incur, The Apt University and its coach(es)/consultant(s) entire liability, and one’s exclusive remedy, shall be limited to the amount actually paid to The Apt University for any coaching services rendered.
